BJP behind Sachin Vaze's letter to NIA, trying to defame CM Thackeray: Anil Parab denies extortion charge

Maharashtra Transport Minister Anil Parab has refuted the extortion claims made by suspended Mumbai Police API Sachin Vaze in his letter and called it a BJP conspiracy to defame CM Uddhav Thackeray.

Maharashtra Transport Minister Anil Parab has denied the allegations levelled against him by suspended Mumbai Police assistant inspector Sachin Vaze. On Tuesday, Sachin Vaze wrote a letter to the National Investigation Agency (NIA), alleging that Shiv Sena leader Anil Parab had reportedly asked him to extort Rs 50 crore from the Saifee Burhani Upliftment Trust (SBUT) as well as Rs 2 crore each from 50 contractors associated with the BMC. Later in the evening, Anil Parab held a press conference to refute the claims made by Sachin Vaze in his letter.
