Biden approves Puerto Rico disaster declaration after devastating Hurricane Fiona impact

As Puerto Rico continues its recovery effort following the devastating impact of Hurricane Fiona, President Joe Biden approved a declaration that would make federal funds available.

"Assistance can include grants for temporary housing and home repairs, low-cost loans to cover uninsured property losses, and other programs to help individuals and business owners recover from the effects of the disaster," Biden said in the declaration.
