A goods vehicle driver was dragged for 1 km in Bengaluru road rage after a minor collision escalated into violence.

In yet another case of road rage in Bengaluru, a goods vehicle driver was allegedly dragged for nearly one kilometre by a car driver following a minor collision on Wednesday (February 11, 2026) afternoon.
The incident occurred around 12.45 pm. According to preliminary information, the altercation began after the goods vehicle reportedly brushed against the car, leading to a heated argument between the two drivers.
The verbal spat soon escalated into a confrontation. During the scuffle, the goods vehicle driver is said to have climbed onto the car. Enraged by the situation, the car driver allegedly drove off with the man still on the vehicle, dragging him for nearly a kilometre.
A case has been registered at the Halasuru Traffic Police Station, and further investigation is underway.
Police are verifying CCTV footage from the area and are expected to question both drivers to ascertain the sequence of events.
