Bengaluru man, four associates arrested for posing as police, robbing relative, kidnapping his son

Rohan approached his relative, Naik, for money to start a business. Naik refused, and Rohan hatched a plan to kidnap Naik’s son and extort the money.

Benagluru police on Saturday, January 15, arrested five men for allegedly kidnapping a civil engineer’s son, while conducting a ‘raid’ at his house, posing as police officers.

The police recovered Rs 16 lakh worth of gold items, Rs 10.3 lakh in cash, and two bikes from them. The incident took place on New Year’s eve at Mahalakshmi Layout 2nd stage.
