Bella Hadid stole the show on the Cannes red carpet in a dramatic black vintage Versace gown.
American model Bella Hadid made heads turn at the Cannes Film Festival 2022 as she walked the red carpet in a glamorous black gown by Versace. The diva made a strong sartorial statement and left everyone bewitched with her glam game.
She attended the screening of The Innocent on Tuesday. Her choice of outfit was a vintage Versace gown in black colour. It was originally designed for Austrian soprano and mezzo-soprano Helga Dernesch for a performance in 1987. The strapless creation featured a bodycon silhouette and ended with a floor-dusting hem. The billowing draped detail was truly the cynosure of her look.
The luxury fashion house Versace took to Instagram and shared several photos of Bella taking over the red carpet in the head-turning ensemble.

“Originally designed by Gianni Versace for Austrian soprano and mezzo-soprano, Helga Dernesch, for a performance of the opera Salomé at Teatro alla Scala in Milan, 1987, the strapless gown features a draped bodice in black georgette and a panné velvet skirt. A flourish at the waist is crafted from a stiff taffeta band and closes at the back,” the caption for the post read.
Bella Hadid wore the vintage gown with a pair of sparkling earrings. She swore by the ‘less is more' mantra and tied her hair in a slicked bun. The makeup was flawless and featured defined eyes and beaming highlighter.
