A delegation of the BJP was on their way back to Delhi after meeting the family of the girl who was set ablaze by her alleged stalker when the incident took place.
“In the girl’s case, we went there and created a big impact in Dumka. People are moving away from the vote bank politics and reposing their faith in the BJP. The Soren family has been shaken in Dumka. The news about Ankita (the girl who was set on fire) is running continuously for two-three days now and the BJP is also in the news, which is why they have done this (the FIR),” Dubey said.
“If I am seen talking to a person of any authority in any CCTV footage, I will retire from politics,” he dared.
This airport belongs to the DRDO. Hence, the leaked footage is a big lapse in security from the deputy commissioner’s end. We have filed an FIR in Delhi against the DC and Sumant Anand (the complainant). It is a question about the security of the country,” he added.
“There are four different agencies working for the airport authority. None filed an FIR against me. If you check the logs, you will see we were there on time,” Dubey claimed.
Nine people, including Nishikant Dubey, Manoj Tiwari and the airport director, have been charged with endangering the life and safety of others and criminal trespass when they allegedly got clearance for night-time take off from the Deoghar airport.
According to the FIR, on August 31, Lok Sabha MP Nishikant Dubey, his sons Kanishk Kant Dubey and Mahikant Dubey, MP Manoj Tiwari, Mukesh Pathak, Devta Pandey, and Pintu Tiwari entered the high-security ATC room at the Deoghar airport with no permission and used their influence to pressure officials into giving clearance to their chartered plane for a night-time take off. The newly-inaugurated airport does not have clearance for night operations yet. Flight services at the airport are currently allowed till 30 minutes before sunset.
