BCCI to come up with revised plan for domestic season 'once Covid situation is under control': Sourav Ganguly

BCCI president Sourav Ganguly has said in a letter to affiliated units around the country that the board is "committed to holding the remaining tournaments for this season" and will come up with a revised plan after a host of domestic competitions, including the Ranji Trophy, was postponed due to Covid-19.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is set to come up with a "revised plan" for the remaining tournaments in the domestic season, which includes the 2021/22 Ranji Trophy, after the Covid-19 situation in the country is "under control", president Sourav Ganguly has said.
Ganguly said in a letter to affiliated units that the remaining tournaments had to postponed due to the rising number of Covid-19 cases within the teams and in the country.
