BCCI planning to host more ICC events after 2023 World Cup: Plan tournaments in the next 8 years

The Board of Control for Cricket in India is chalking up plans to bring more International Cricket Council events to home. India have the hosting rights for the T20 World Cup in 2021 and the 50-over World Cup in 2023.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India is planning to bring more International Cricket Council events to home soil, The BCCI had the hosting rights to stage the T20 World Cup this year but the global T20 spectacle was moved to the UAE due to Covid-19 concerns and the monsoon season in India.

The T20 World Cup will be held in Oman and the UAE with the hosting rights remaining with the BCCI. However, India are on course to host the 2023 World Cup at home as the cricket board has the hosting rights for the said tournament.
