Bangladesh Cricket Board president Nazmul Hasan has said the home board is confident of the bio-bubble arrangement that is in place for the ongoing 3-match ODI series against Sri Lanka. Hasan's comment comes after a Sri Lanka player tested positive for Covid-19 in the lead up to the series opener in Dhaka on Sunday. Nazmul Hasan stressed that there is no need for panic but promised that Bangladesh Cricket Board will step up the bio-bubble vigilance. Bangladesh and Sri Lanka play 3 ODIs in Dhaka between May 23 and 28. The BCB chief is confident that the remainder of the series will go ahead as scheduled. The ODI series opener was in question after it emerged on Sunday that 3 members of the touring Sri Lankan party tested positive for Covid-19. However, two of them returned negative results in the second RT-PCR test. The first ODI went ahead as scheduled on Sunday even as the 3 members did not join the rest of the team at the Shere-Bangla National Stadium.More Related News
