Tamim Iqbal will skip the two Tests against Pakistan at home and look to be fit in time for Bangladesh's tour of New Zealand in January.
Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal has been ruled out of the upcoming home Test series against Pakistan due to a thumb injury that he suffered while playing franchise cricket in Kathmandu.
Tamim Iqbal was already recuperating from a knee injury which forced him to opt out of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 in the United Arab Emirates citing lack of game time.
