Big Bash League: Australia all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has become the 13th player from the Melbourne Stars team to test positive for Covid-19 as the ongoing edition of BBL has been badly hit by the virus scare.
Australia all-rounder and Melbourne Stars captain Glenn Maxwell tested positive for Covid-19 on Wednesday. Maxwell returned a positive rapid antigen test for Covid-19 and is currently isolating while awaiting the result of an RT-PCR test he undertook.
Glenn Maxwell led a depleted Melbourne Stars side against Melbourne Renegades on Monday in the ongoing edition of the Big Bash League (BBL) which has been badly hit by Covid-19. Notably, Maxwell is the 13th Stars player to test positive for Covid-19, putting in doubt their clash on Friday against Adelaide Strikes.
