Assam to move Supreme Court in 10-15 days for resolution of border dispute with Mizoram: CM Sarma

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Sunday that the state government will move the Supreme Court in the next 10-15 days to seek an amicable resolution to the border dispute with Mizoram.

The Assam government has decided to move the Supreme Court within 15 days to resolve the inter-state boundary dispute with Mizoram amicably. This development comes at a time when tensions have been running high along the Assam-Mizoram border following the July 26 violence. Addressing media persons in Guwahati on Sunday, CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said his government has decided to move the Supreme Court to seek an amicable resolution to the boundary dispute with Mizoram.
