India tour of England: Fast bowler Stuart Broad explained how he picked up the calf injury while training in London. The senior pacer said he is gutted over missing out on the rest of the series but that he wouldn't rush the recovery process.
Premier England pacer Stuart Broad said on Thursday that he is gutted to miss the remainder of the 5-match Test series against India. Broad was ruled out of the series after he picked up a calf injury during training in the lead up to the 2nd Test, starting August 12 at Lord's in London. Stuart Broad shed light on how he picked up the calf injury and highlighted how an innocuous training session has resulted in him missing the entire English summer. Broad also joked that he had suspected his goof friend and fellow fast bower, James Anderson of whipping him with a rope during the training session when he felt pain in his calf muscle.More Related News
