Doha, Qatar: The Public Works Authority, Ashghal, announced on Thursday several temporary road closures in and around the Al Rayyan area.
Ashghal stated that the underpass of Gharrafat Al Rayyan will be temporarily closed for traffic from 2am to 10am on Friday, August 15, 2025. This will include the area coming from Gharrafat Al Rayyan and heading towards the Education City Intersection.
A temporary partial closure is also imposed on the underpasses of Huwar Road, starting from Old Al Rayyan heading to the Education City Intersection. This road closure will be in effect starting at 2am to 8am daily from Saturday, August 16, to August 22, 2025.
A temporary partial road closure is also announced in the underpasses of Al Rayyan Al Jadeed from New Al Rayyan heading to Al Wajba. This road closure will be in effect from 2am to 8am on Sunday, August 17, 2025.
Throughout this period, Ashghal urges road users to reroute to nearby streets to reach their destinations until the routine road maintenance is completed.
