A marble statue of a man, dressed in a toga and holding a scroll, was found by construction workers in the city of Varna, previously the ancient city of Odessa, with very little damage.
The statue, slightly taller than a human, according to the post, was found in Varna, the ancient city Odessa, and displayed a middle-aged man with a short beard, dressed in a Roman toga and holding a scroll. Ashlyn Messier is a writer for Fox News Digital.
An inscription on a pedestal read the name, G(ai) Marie Hermogen, according to the Varna Regional Museum of History.
