Archaeologists uncovered a record number of Roman artifacts at Bremenium Fort in northern England, including 2,000-year-old pottery, military items and gemstones.

The fort is over 20 miles north of Hadrian's Wall, an ancient wall designed to protect the northern border of Britannia from the Picts.
