Amon-Ra St. Brown out with ankle injury after leaving Thanksgiving game vs. Packers
NY Post
Amon-Ra St. Brown went down and was removed from Thursday’s game between the Lions and Packers.
St. Brown was rolled up on from behind by offensive lineman Kayode Awosika on a Jahmyr Gibbs rushing attempt with 6:19 remaining in the first quarter, and the Packers leading 3-0.
St. Brown was clearly in pain, and multiple team doctors came to look at their coveted receiver. After initially being ruled as questionable to return, St. Brown was ruled out at the start of the second half.
It is unclear what St. Brown’s injury is although the nature of the roll up from behind could point to an ankle sprain.
The stud Lions receiver had not been targeted in the pass game prior to the injury.
Through the first half, the Lions really struggled through the air, as quarterback Jared Goff missed his security blanket, as St. Brown was not on the sideline with the team, presumably getting treatment from team doctors.

‘Freak of nature: Zion Williamson’s resurgence could pose a Knicks problem versus motivated Pelicans
Zion Williamson is slimmer and healthier for his trip to MSG.

Almost a year to the day after a goaltender interference call against Kyle Palmieri lost the Islanders a game against the Blue Jackets that started their season’s death spiral, they were on the wrong end of another controversial call against those same Blue Jackets that might have had the same effect.

SAN DIEGO — As you may have seen elsewhere in this newspaper (and also if you haven’t deleted me yet from your social media), I have a book coming out Tuesday called “The Bosses of The Bronx.” Much of it details the 37 years’ worth of antics, winning, losing, winning again and overall mania of George Steinbrenner’s time with the Yankees.
