QNADohaHis Highness the Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani will participate in St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF 2021) on Friday. The forum will also see the participation of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, and a number of heads of state and governments.HH the Amir will deliver a speech via video conference in the main session of the forum, dealing with the partnership between Qatar and Russia in various fields, especially in the economy and investment sectors, in addition to His Highness’s vision of the international cooperation in the post-pandemic (COVID-19) economy, and ways to overcome its effects.HH the Amir will also participate, with the Russian President and Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, in the forum’s discussion session.The forum, which is being held from June 2-5 in St. Petersburg, will be attended by a number of ministers, senior political and economic officials, experts and heads of companies from Qatar, Russia and the world.
