The Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and HM Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman visited Al Bayt Stadium, which will host the opening matches of the 2021 FIFA Arab Cup and the World Cup 2022. During the visit, HH the Amir and the Sultan viewed models of the World Cup 2022 stadiums and their training facilities and fan zones. HH the Amir and the Sultan were briefed on Al Bayt’s stadium architecture, its capacity and the atmosphere it will provide to sports fans. HH the Amir and the Sultan were accompanied by a number of ministers and high-ranking officials, as well as Oman’s Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs Shihab bin Tarek Al Said and members of the accompanying delegation.
