QNADohaHis Highness the Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Tunisia Kais Saied on Wednesday.The phone call touched on the latest developments in Tunisia. HH the Amir stressed the need to overcome the current political crisis and the importance of the Tunisian parties adopting the path of dialogue to overcome the crisis, consolidate the pillars of the state institutions and establish the rule of law in the Republic of Tunisia, in order to preserve the interest of the brotherly Tunisian people and the stability of Tunisia.For his part, the Tunisian president expressed thanks and appreciation to HH the Amir for Qatar’s supportive position for the aspirations of the Tunisian people and its constant stand by Tunisia.The two sides also reviewed the close bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways of enhancing and promoting them.
