His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly Marzouq bin Ali Al Ghanim, and a delegation accompanying him, at the Amiri Diwan on Wednesday morning. At the outset of the meeting, Ghanim conveyed the greetings of Kuwaiti Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah to HH the Amir of Qatar. The Kuwaiti Amir wished his counterpart good health and happiness, and the Qatari people further progress and prosperity. For his part, HH the Amir entrusted Ghanim to convey his greetings to the Kuwaiti Amir, wishing him good health and wellness and the Kuwaiti people further progress and prosperity. Ghanim congratulated HH the Amir and the government and people of Qatar on the success of the first legislative elections of the Shura Council and the inauguration of its first legislative term. He also wished the Shura Council members all success. In the meeting, the strong brotherly relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them were reviewed. The meeting was attended by Speaker of the Shura Council HE Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim. (QNA)
