His Highness the Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with Secretary-General of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) Mohamed Hamel at Sheikh Abdullah Bin Jassim Majlis at the Amiri Diwan on Monday. At the beginning of the meeting, HH the Amir congratulated Hamel on his election as Secretary-General of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum, wishing him success in his duties. For his part, Hamel expressed thanks and appreciation to HH the Amir for the support provided by Qatar to the Doha-based forum. During the meeting, they reviewed cooperation relations and the ways of enhancing them, in addition to issues of common interest. (QNA)
