QNADohaAs the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and Investment, His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani chaired the council’s third meeting of 2021 at the Amiri Diwan on Monday morning.The Deputy Chairman of the council, Deputy Amir HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, attended the meeting along with the Executive Member of the council, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, and other members.The council reviewed the decisions and recommendations made in the second meeting, and the project follow-up report. The council also discussed the country’s economic priorities and took appropriate decisions in their regard. The council was briefed on development plans and challenges related to the tourism sector, and on the banking sector in the country, its challenges and development mechanisms, in addition to the developments of the second national development strategy for 2018-2022.The council also discussed the topics listed on its agenda and took the appropriate decisions on them.
