QNARiyadhHis Highness the Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, along with leaders of GCC countries and heads of delegations, participated in the 42nd session of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC), which was held at Diriyah Palace in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Tuesday.The session was attended by a number of members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Amir, a number of princes, and members of the accompanying official delegations.It was also attended by GCC Secretary-General HE Dr Nayef bin Falah Al Hajraf.Later, HH the Amir attended the dinner banquet held Tuesday by his brother HRH Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, in honour of leaders of GCC countries and heads of delegations participating in the summit.HH the Amir left Riyadh after attending the summit. HH the Amir sent a telegram to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and his brother, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense. HH the Amir expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation for the warm and generous hospitality he and the accompanying delegation were shown during the participation in the summit. HH the Amir expressed his satisfaction with the important results of this session, which will contribute to supporting and strengthening the council’s march and achieving the aspirations of the peoples of his countries. HH the Amir wished them good health and wellness, and the brotherly Saudi people further progress and prosperity under their wise leadership.
