American trucker says transporting Capitol Christmas tree 3,000 miles to Washington, DC, is 'huge honor'
Fox News
A seven-year trucking veteran calls transporting the 53-foot Capitol Christmas Tree a "huge honor" in his career as crowds have been cheering him along the cross-country route.
"It was amazing to see everyone come together and create this." Ashley J. DiMella is a lifestyle reporter with Fox News Digital.
This year’s tree was selected from Nevada’s National Forests. It's traveling nearly 3,000 miles from Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, plus making 12 stops along the way — all so that Americans have a chance to see "the People’s Tree." A post shared by Nevada Division of Forestry (@nevadaforestry)
