A host of Bollywood celebrities were present at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium during the India vs England T20 World Cup 2026 semi-final. India secured a place in the tournament's finals against New Zealand.
Cricket and cinema collided in spectacular fashion at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium on Thursday as India took on England in the semi-final of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026. What unfolded in the stands felt almost as thrilling as the action on the pitch, with several Bollywood celebrities, including Anil Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and others, turning up to cheer for Team India.
From actors to cricket legends and business personalities, the high-stakes clash quickly transformed into a star-studded affair, with fans equally excited about the match and the famous faces in the crowd.
Among the first to arrive were actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, who walked into the stadium with their daughter Raha Kapoor. The family drew considerable attention as they made their way inside, with Ranbir carrying Raha while Alia walked alongside them in a relaxed outfit and cap.

Once inside the stadium, the trio settled into the VIP enclosure and soon switched to blue Indian jerseys, joining thousands of fans in cheering for the home side.
Actor Varun Dhawan was also seen soaking in the electrifying atmosphere. The actor appeared fully invested in the match and was seen chatting with veteran star Anil Kapoor as the game progressed.
