
Alberta teen charged with trafficking after Hay River bust

A teenager from Alberta has been charged with trafficking after police in Hay River, N.W.T., searched a residence on Sunday.
Six other people were also arrested in the bust. Five were released without charges.
RCMP said in a news release on Monday that a 35-year-old woman from Hay River is also facing potential charges but did not provide details.
Police say the search was executed at a residence on Saskatoon Drive on Sunday. They seized a "small quantity" of crack cocaine, about $2,500 in cash, and "evidence supporting drug trafficking activity."
The 17-year-old from Alberta has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000. He was remanded into custody.
