The Al Shamal Municipality joined the Ministry of Municipality and Environment’s (MME) initiative to plant one million trees across Qatar, by planting a number of saplings in front of the municipality’s headquarters. The programme was implemented in cooperation with Al Ruwais Health Center. A number of officials from the MME’s Public Parks Department as well as doctors and nursing staff from the medical centre took part in the initiative. (TNN)
