Akhilesh Yadav not to contest Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls, announces tie-up with RLD

Akhilesh Yadav also said his uncle Shivpal Singh Yadav, who broke away from the SP to form the Pragatisheel Samajwadi party Lohia (PSPL) will get the “due honour” from his party.
Samajwadi Party (SP) supremo Akhilesh Yadav on November 1 said he will not contest the coming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections himself even as he announced that an alliance between his party and the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) is now final.
Mr. Yadav also said his uncle Shivpal Singh Yadav, who broke away from the SP to form the Pragatisheel Samajwadi party Lohia (PSPL) will get the “due honour” from his party.
“Our alliance with the RLD is final. Seat-sharing is to be finalised,” he told PTI in an interview.

The Karnataka government will discuss with officials the possibility of creating a portal for unemployed youth to share their details and access job opportunities in micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), Minister for Small Industries and Public Enterprises Sharanabasappa Darshanapur said in the Legislative Council on Tuesday.
