Agra Smart City project moves at snail's pace

Locals in Agra seem unhappy with the slow pace and lackadaisical attitude of the municipal corporation and district administration towards the Smart City project, aimed at redevelopment of Agra.

The Rs 1,000 crore 'Smart City' project in Agra, aimed at redevelopment of the city, is progressing at a snail's pace, causing hardships for the people. After conducting a review, Agra District Magistrate (DM) Prabhu N Singh told India Today that he had ordered an inquiry into the work done on the project so far.
