Following the security lapse in Punjab on Wednesday, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and other BJP leaders performed ‘Rudra Yagya’ and special prayers for the long life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Ugratara Temple in Guwahati.

On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s convoy was stuck on a flyover blocked by protesting farmers for nearly 20 minutes in Punjab. He was on his way to Ferozepur.
