
After Covid break, Kochi airport retains 3rd position in handling international flights

The Kochi airport witnessed peak traffic with 22,534 passengers and 151 flight operations on Monday, which is the highest since the outbreak of Covid in 2020.
The Kochi airport has surged ahead in handling more international passengers, marking the return to its pre-Covid level of operations.
Reportedly, Kochi airport has emerged as the third busiest airport in terms of international traffic. Notably, the flight operations in the city had come to a halt due to the Coronavirus outbreak and the resultant travel curbs.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
