An African-origin woman was arrested on Saturday after the customs department seized more than 2 kg of heroin worth Rs 15 crore from her bag at Jaipur International Airport.
A 23-year-old African-origin woman was arrested after the customs department recovered more than 2 kg of heroin from her bag worth Rs 15 crore at Jaipur International Airport, an official said on Sunday.
The woman, who is from Kenya, had arrived from Sharjah on an Air Arabia flight and was intercepted after landing in Jaipur. Upon frisking, about 2.150 kg of heroin was seized from her, according to the official. She was arrested on Saturday.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
