Afghanistan will offer to host Pakistan in ODI series, says newly-appointed board chief Azizullah Fazli

After taking over as the chairman of Afghanistan Cricket Board for the second time, Azizullah Fazli said he plans to visit Asian powerhouses, including India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, stressing that he needs cooperation from other countries to help improve Afghanistan cricket.
Newly-appointed Afghanistan Cricket Board chairman Azizullah Fazli said he would offer to host Pakistan in an ODI series when he travels to the neighbouring country later this week. Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Ramiz Raja also confirmed that Fazli will be visiting Pakistan.
Even as calls for a boycott of the men's team are going around after the Taliban's takeover in August, Azizullah Fazli said he is determined to help improve Afghanistan cricket and sought the cooperation of other countries.In a first step towards walking the talk, Fazli said he will be visiting the regional powerhouses, including Pakistan, India and Sri Lanka.
