AFC to reschedule qualifiers of 2022 Women's Asian Cup in India due to Covid-19 pandemic

The AFC said that its executive committee has "decided to provide greater flexibility in finalising the dates for the Qualifiers taking into consideration the challenges that may arise from the availability of hosts, team travel arrangements, quarantine and medical measures imposed by several nations".

The qualifiers for the AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2022, which was set to be held in India from September 13 to 25, 2021, is set to be rescheduled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) said on Monday. The AFC said that its executive committee has "decided to provide greater flexibility in finalising the dates for the Qualifiers, which is currently scheduled for September 13 to 25, 2021, taking into consideration the challenges that may arise from the availability of hosts, team travel arrangements, quarantine and medical measures imposed by several nations".
