The second-tier AFC Cup's south zone group stage matches in the Maldives have been postponed, the Asian Football Confederation said on Sunday.
The Asian Football Confederation on Sunday said that all Group D matches of the AFC Cup in the Maldives have been postponed indefinitely and clubs that have already arrived will have to arrange their return. The decision comes after Indian Super League (ISL) side Bengaluru FC allegedly flouted the existing Covid-19 protocols in the country. Group D matches were originally scheduled to be held in capital Male from May 14-21. The AFC did not give revised dates for the games.More Related News
