A vote for Congress is a vote wasted: TMC's Abhishek Banerjee

TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee said, “Trinamool has been defeating the BJP for the past few years while Congress has been constantly losing to the BJP. So, voting for Congress is wasting your vote.”

Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Abhishek Banerjee on Saturday said that voting for Congress is a waste as only the TMC could defeat the BJP.

Speaking at an Assembly bypoll campaign rally in the South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal, the Diamond Harbour MP said, “The big difference between Congress and TMC is that Trinamool has been defeating the BJP for the past few years while Congress has been constantly losing to the BJP. So, voting for Congress is wasting your vote.”
