Tribune News NetworkDohaAssistant Foreign Minister and Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs HE Lolwah Al Khater has thanked the medical staff who have been at the forefront of the country’s fight against COVID-19. “The medical staff works day and night, and I personally know those who have been working for more than 18 hours straight for weeks, not to mention the past two years. In my personal capacity, I say thanks to every doctor, every nurse, and every security man,” Al Khater said in a tweet.She added that her appreciation post comes after one of the female colleagues, who was working day and night, even in illness and despite her family responsibilities - suffered a severe attack from COVID-19. She offered prayers for the colleague’s recovery and also hoped that the country wins this round of fight against COVID-19.
