8 associates of history-sheeter held at gunpoint in Tamil Nadu's Kanchipuram

At least eight associates of history-sheeter Lenin were arrested at gunpoint in Kanchipuram district of Tamil Nadu.
As many as eight associates of history-sheeter Lenin were arrested near Somangalam in Kanchipuram district of Tamil Nadu at gunpoint.
The police were informed that the eight were hiding in Lenin's house in Naduveerapattu to commit a crime.
Somangalam police rushed to the spot and arrested eight people at gunpoint. They also confiscated weapons including knives and machetes from the detainees.

The men taken into custody were - Naresh Babu (26), Suresh Babu (30), Vignesh (23), Harikaran (21), Sreedharan (24), Mohan (24), Vignesh (18) and Chandru (27).
A case has been registered against the eight persons and they have been produced in the Sriperumbudur court and lodged in the Kanchipuram jail.
Police have filed several cases against history-sheeter Lenin under several charges including murder, robbery, attempted murder, death threat and kidnapping. He was arrested in June 2018 and was lodged in Salem Jail.
