
7-year-old among 4 taken to hospital after vehicle hits house near Comber

Authorities say a vehicle ran into a house near the southwestern Ontario community of Staples early Monday, south of Comber.
According to Ontario Provincial Police, four people in the vehicle were taken to hospital with what are described as non-life-threatening injuries. One of the passengers was a seven-year-old.
No one in the home suffered injuries.
Police say it happened around 1 a.m., at a home on Highway 77 at County Road 8.
The collision is still under investigation by the OPP, and they're appealing for people who may have witnessed it to come forward.
