7 Congress MLAs deny supporting move to dislodge Punjab CM Amarinder Singh

Seven Congress MLAs have denied supporting the alleged move to dislodge Captain Amarinder Singh as Punjab chief minister. 

Seven of the 20-odd Punjab Congress MLAs and former MLAs have disassociated themselves from being a part of the faction allegedly demanding to dislodge Captain Amarinder Singh as chief minister. Denying being part of what they termed as "a conspiracy hatched by a section engaged in trying to drive a wedge within the party", these seven leaders have thrown their weight behind the chief minister and reposed their full faith in his leadership.
