5th T20I: Afif Hossain knock in vain as Tom Latham's New Zealand pull one back with 27-run win vs Bangladesh

Tom Latham, Ajaz Patel and Scott Kuggeleijn helped New Zealand outclassed Bangladesh in the fifth and final T20I by 27 runs in Dhaka on Friday.

New Zealand overcame a valiant knock from Afif Hossain to beat Bangladesh by 27 runs in the fifth and final T20 international in Dhaka on Friday to end the series with their second win at the Shere Bangla National stadium. Chasing 162 for victory, Bangladesh were restricted to 134 for 8 in 20 overs with Afif Hossain ending up on 49 not out as he fought a lone battle to keep his team afloat in the chase even as he kept losing batting partners at the other end. Bangladesh however, took the series 3-2 after winning the first, second and fourth T20Is.
