5 arrested for making extortion calls to Union Minister Ajay Misra

Five people have been arrested in connection with making extortion calls to Union Minister of State (MoS) for Home Affairs, Ajay Misra.

The Delhi Police on Friday arrested five people in connection with extortion calls made to Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Ajay Misra Teni, officials said.

A senior police officer said that a complaint was received from a staff member of Misra that he had received phone calls demanding over Rs 1 crore, following which an FIR was lodged in New Delhi district and investigation initiated.
