England wicket-keeper batsman Jos Buttler, who scored an unbeaten 83 vs India in the 3rd T20I, has said that people don't expect him to take on the spinners and so he tried doing it at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Tuesday.
England defeated India by 8 wickets in the 3rd T20I in Ahmedabad on Tuesday and went 2-1 up in the 5-match series. England held the upper hand in all the three departments of the game and bounced back from their 7-wicket loss in the 2nd T20I on Sunday. India were expecting a fight after captain Virat Kohli (77* off 46 balls) powered his side to 156/6 in 20 overs. The hosts were reduced to 24 for 3 in 5.2 overs after being asked to bat first but the return of Kohli's form ensured that the number 2 ranked T20I team in the world gets to a respectable total. However, Kohli show was overshadowed by a bigger show from England wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler, who scored all around the park for his unbeaten 83 off 52 balls. His stellar innings included 5 fours and 4 sixes. Reverse-sweeps and three gigantic sixes over long-on was the highlight of his powerful innings which kept India under the pump throughout.More Related News
