Three schools in Kolkata have been shut down for the safety of the students after several teachers and students have tested positive for Covid-19.
Three schools in Kolkata have been shut down due to the spread of Covid-19 on their campuses. Several students and teachers tested positive for the virus and hence the decision to shut down the campuses was taken by the authorities on Wednesday. La Martiniere for Boys and The Frank Anthony Public School shut down their campuses till March 27 and March 29, respectively, as one student each of the two schools tested positive for Covid-19, the authorities have conveyed. A class 10 student of The Frank Anthony Public School was found to be Covid-positive after attending classes on the campus on Sunday, Principal IT Myers said in a notice, as per PTI reports.More Related News
