Zimbabwe captain Sean Williams scored a memorable hundred to take the 2nd Test match into the final day as they took a slender lead over Afghanistan on Day 4 in Abu Dhabi on Saturday. Zimbabwe, following on, reached 266 for 7 at stumps with a lead of 8 runs thanks to the unbroken 124-run partnership between Williams and fast bowler Donald Tiripano. Williams brought up his 4th Test hundred off 173 balls and remained unbeaten on 106 with Tiripano, who scored his maiden Test fifty, batting on 63 at the other end.
