2 pedestrians struck in west London hit and run Monday night

One pedestrian is suffering from life-threatening injuries, and another with serious injuries after a vehicle struck two people in a hit and run Monday night in west London.
London police said they received reports of the collision near Fiddlers Green Road and Oxford Street West around 10:30 p.m. The vehicle fled the scene.
Paramedics transported two people to hospital.
The London Police traffic management unit is in the early stages of its investigation. Police will release more information to the public as the investigation continues.

Sarnia City Council will hold a special meeting Tuesday morning to respond to social media comments made by Coun. Bill Dennis, who criticized city spending on a new mural by Indigenous artist Kennady Osborne as “virtue signalling by woke politicians” — then made a series of comments in response to a reply from Aamjiwnaang Chief Janelle Nahmabin that some have characterized as unprofessional and aggressive.
