Dhaka T20I: Bangladesh went 1-0 up in the 5-match series after registering their first-ever win over New Zealand in the shortest format of the game. The visitors were bundled out for their joint-lowest score of 60.

Bangladesh scripted history on Wednesday, registering their first-ever win over New Zealand in T20I cricket as they hammered the visitors by 7 wickets after bowling them out for just 60 in the opening match of the 5-match T20I series in Dhaka. This was their first win over the Blackcaps in 11 T20I meetings between the two teams. Bangladesh also continued their fine run in the shortest format of the game at home. After hammering Australia 4-1 last month, the hosts have begun well against New Zealand, albeit the visitors fielding a weakened team in the absence of their several first-choice players.
