1 dead, 1 arrested after homicide in Lambton County

One person has been arrested following a homicide in Lambton County that left one person dead and another injured Saturday afternoon.
Just after 1:30 p.m., Ontario Provincial Police arrived at a residence in the Municipality of Lambton Shores where they found one person already dead and another with serious injuries. The injured person was taken to hospital.
Police arrested one person, but said there will be continued police presence in the area.
While the investigation is still ongoing, police said Saturday's incident appears to be isolated and there is no broader threat to public safety.
