Join youth vocal concert in Bengaluru on February 15, featuring duets and honoring C. Cheluvaraju.
Nadasurabhi Cultural Association will present a youth vocal concert on Sunday, February 15, at Lecture Hall 1, Golden Jubilee Block, St. John’s Medical College campus (Entry from Gate 2), Koramangala, Bengaluru.
The programme will commence at 4 p.m. with a vocal duet by S. Aishwarya and S. Saundarya, accompanied by Vaibhav Ramani on the violin, C.. Cheluvaraju on the mridangam, and N. Gurumurthy on the ghatam.
Following the concert, senior mridangam artiste C. Cheluvaraju will be honoured with the Nadasurabhi Lifetime Achievement Award. The event will conclude with a Purandaradasa and Thyagaraja Aradhana from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., featuring a group rendition of Pillari Geethe and Pancharatna kritis.
